Our Business
TransWorld has been using the cast embossed manufacturing process to produce our quality products. Our team has many years of experience in the embossing industry. We look forward to you putting us to the test!
We purchased the production equipment and operating supplies of former Rochelle Plastic Films located in Rochelle, Illinois. The decision was made to resume operations in the same location/building for it's prime manufacturing location.
We also made the important decision to hire key personal from former Rochelle Plastic Films.We are not affiliated in any form with former Rochelle Plastic Films, Inc.

Ronald V Mounts
The Owners:
Ronald Mounts and Family, are the owners of TransWorld and may be the only minority owned cast embossed film producer in North America. Eighty percent (80%) is owned by four women of Hispanic decent. Ronald Mounts has been involved in polyethylene film extrusion since 1966. While Ron's background includes the major methods of film formation, he provides knowledge in plant operations, purchasing, production and product research and development. Manufacturing operations are headed by Ron Mounts, Joseph Burke ( Plant Manager) and shift supervisors. Office operations and customer service is headed up by Kimberly McGee. Together, they bring over 75 years of manufacturing knowledge and experience to the field. We have a proven track record of maximizing production rates and minimizing scrap rates. These cost savings allow us to sell our product at a fair market price!
