TransWorld has been using the cast embossed manufacturing process to produce our quality products.  This is one of two methods used to produce thermoplastic film.  The other method is known as blown film with several hundred producers in North America.  The reason for selecting the cast embossed method is two fold:

• The competition is limited to less than eight competitors nationwide.

• The markets are more specialized and less of a commodity market.

Who We Are Here At TransWorld

The Owners:

Ron Mounts and Family, are the owners of TransWorld and may be the only minority owned cast embossed film producer in North America.  Eighty percent (80%)  is owned by four women of Hispanic descent.  We purchased the production equipment and operating supplies of former Rochelle Plastic Films located in Rochelle, Illinois.  The decision was made to resume operations in the same location/building  for it's prime manufacturing location. We also made the important decision to hire key personal from former Rochelle Plastic Films.
